My approach.
Strength and Conditioning (S&C) for combat athletes is different from every other sport due to their being no ‘off’ season.
Structuring the physical requirements needed in training to suit the level of competition you’re facing and the duration is another factor to consider in your preparation.
I pride myself on having well conditioned and strong athletes for their time requirements and for their weight divisions.
Often this will be a less is more approach, if you’re doing 10+ hours a week of constant work in training you don’t need that replicated with weights or conditioning.
We cover what you can’t perform in the gym and build consistently allowing you to be greater at your sport and display it to your best ability.
